In Josef Fousek's poems and song lyrics from 1969-2021, hope and melancholy mix - like in the river of life. The path of the non-partisan self-educated tramp, or rather bohemian, was a winding one, and the work of this popular author is a reflection of a colourful and often disease-influenced life on the periphery of society. The collection contains famous texts set to music and sung by Petr Spálený, Eva Pilarová and Miluška Voborníková, as well as lesser-known verses. The book is accompanied by black and white photographs from the author's workshop.
