I know you from my dreams

Elsa has been in a coma since an unfortunate accident five months ago. Doctors give her no hope and her family must face the devastating decision of whether to take her off life support. None of them can suspect that Elsa has regained partial consciousness in the last few weeks – knows he's in the hospital, and he can hear his surroundings, but he can't react.

In the same hospital, Thibault visits his brother who caused a drunk driving accident that killed two young girls. He doesn't know how to approach the situation and what to think, his mind is in chaos and he is looking for a place to hide from the world… and accidentally wanders into Elsa's room.

When he sees her lying there with a peaceful expression on her face, he can't believe she's not asleep. He had originally planned to just rest for a while, but the silence is so oppressive that – even though he knows he won't get an answer; he starts talking to Elsa. He can't get the strange but cathartic experience out of his head and decides to visit Elsa again. And again. Soon he was coming to see her regularly. Is he that desperate? Or is he aware of something that no one else is?

He also meets her family and friends and learns more about her each time… and he's starting to realize that he's having stronger and stronger feelings for her. And when he speaks to her, she can't shake the impression that she hears his every word.

For Elsa, his visits become what keeps her afloat. She finally has someone who treats her like a normal human being. Who can entertain her. And who gives her something worth fighting for.

It's the beginning of a relationship that could save both their lives.
