Hugo's world of genius

Hugo is a box, a sporting number one and the school's biggest badass - or so he imagined himself. But in reality, he's far from famous. He's in sixth grade and he's dealing with the biggest problem a person his age can have: How do you go from being a nobody to a badass overnight? But Hugo had a first-class plan: He'll make a dent in the world of sports and finally impress the candy-coloured Viola and convince his parents and teachers that so far they just haven't noticed what he's been up to. In football, handball, Judah, swimming, and even in ballet, wherever Hugo wants to demonstrate his hidden talent. And just to get Viola's attention, by the way! You will love, understand and regret Hugo, but most importantly, you will have as much fun with him from the first page to the last as life can bring when you are a teenager. The book is published in an excellent translation by Kateřina Klabanová.
