How to use Nero 7

Nowadays, optical discs - CDs and DVDs - have become the most important data carriers. They have the optimum capacity for normal practice, are inexpensive and easy to work with. Recording on these discs is transferred in two basic ways. In the industrial realm, discs are made by pressing and the user can do nothing with them other than purchase and play them. But the second type of recording is for everyone - it's burning. This operation, which was practically unavailable a decade ago, is now a common practice and you can no longer buy a computer that is not equipped with a CD or, even better, a DVD burner. This book sets out to introduce readers to the most important features of the Nero software package, one of the most widely used tools for burning discs today. Nero is literally a universal program, guiding you through the whole world of audiovisual technology and helping you create CDs and DVDs right from the source. In addition to the basic burning application - Nero Burning ROM - you get several other programs along with it, that can, for example, record your voice and your accompaniment on a guitar or other musical instrument, to store the entire music track thus created, Edit, to provide the effects, to be included in the compilation along with other tracks, then burn the disc and finally create the packaging for the box. This publication is intended for anyone who wants to burn a disc using Nero and does not want to be stuck with one operation they have learned. However, some knowledge is assumed - the reader should know basic operations such as using the mouse, starting and stopping programs, switching between running programs and manipulating windows. A prerequisite for successful disk burning is knowledge of file operations (copying, moving, renaming and deleting files) and folders (how to organize data on the disk). The book is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is introductory and introductory. Learn what Nero is, how to get it, install it, and run it. You'll also want to learn about how your computer actually burns CDs and DVDs and what is important to set up and monitor. The second chapter introduces the reader to applications that offer burning services in a simpler way and without complicated setting of numerous parameters. These are the Nero Start Smart application and especially Nero Express. In the third chapter, we will look at the most important part of the software package, Nero Burning ROM. It can really do everything, when it comes to burning discs, and you can burn all types of discs with it, whether it's an ordinary data CD, music CD, or a DVD? The video, Burning different types of discs is described step by step with typical examples. Chapter 4 describes some companion programs that are useful tools when working with disks and drives. These are mainly Nero ImageDrive, to create a virtual drive, Nero DriveSpeed, which can adjust the speed of the drives, Nero CD-DVD Speed, that can check both drives, as well as the discs, and finally Nero InfoTool, which can give you all the information about the drives and the drives. At the end of the book you will find some brief mentions of the accompanying programmes, like Nero Cover Designer, designed for printing packaging, Nero Wave Editor, that can process the audio recording, and Nero Sound Trax, which is mainly used to compile the entire music CD. The final, eighth chapter is devoted to the remaining applications bundled with Nero Burning ROM. This is mainly about the creator of "artificial" disks Nero ImageDrive, and Nero DriveSpeed, which can adjust the speed of the drives, Nero BackItUp for data backup, Nero CD-DVD Speed, that can test and measure your drives and disks, Nero Info Tool providing comprehensive information about optical disc drives.
