House on the Hill Horror
Playwright Holly Sherwin has been struggling for years, but when she receives a grant to develop her play, The Witch of Edmonton, she is finally close to her big break. All she needs is time and space to bring her vision to life. When she stumbles upon the Hill House during a weekend trip up north, a majestic, albeit neglected, gothic manor almost hidden on the outskirts of a remote village, she is immediately captivated. It's huge, old, and very spooky—perfect for developing and rehearsing her play.
Despite her initial reluctance, Holly's girlfriend, Nisa, agrees to join her and rent the manor for two weeks. Soon, a group of actors, each haunted by their own skeletons from the past, gathers there. However, no sooner have they settled in than the house's eccentricities begin to show: strange creatures roam the surrounding grounds, mysterious sounds echo through the corridors, and time seems to jump inexplicably.
All too soon, Holly and her friends find themselves at odds not only with each other but also with the house itself. It seems that something has been waiting in the Hill House all these years, and it no longer wants to be alone...
