House in Myjava
If you stand up to evil early enough, does it start to turn into good? In 1922, in the hills of Myjava, a bus carrying students left the future surrealist painter Salvador Dalí behind. The unmissable Spaniard was taken in for one night by a family who looked after him. As a thank you, the student painted a burning giraffe on their wall, which would influence the life of the then twelve-year-old Milo. Milo's grandson will discover the incredible journey of the one-legged tinsmith and many historical events, from the creation of Czechoslovakia to the present day, thanks to notebooks he finds in the attic of his grandfather's house while preparing to sell it. After Milo's death, this writing does not end; surprisingly, someone else continues it.
