History of the Náprstek Museum II.

While the first part of The History of the Náprstek Museum deals with its development as an institution, the second part aims to present the breadth of its individual collections and their development in the cultural, social, and political context of the Czech lands. The Náprstek Museum is the main institution in the country that documents and presents non-European cultures. Its collections of more than 150,000 objects cover Asia, Africa, the Americas, Australia and the Pacific from prehistoric times to the present day.
