Historic roof trusses

A publication for designers, structural engineers, architects and all those who encounter traditional truss construction in their work. The publication follows on from the successful previous titles Trusses I and Trusses II. The book is updated and supplemented with new practical experience gained from truss repairs and additional illustrative diagrams. Particular attention is paid to the typology, the methodology of roof trusses survey and the technology of repairing damaged trusses and the protection of trusses and roofs. The authors devoted a separate chapter to the dendrochronological survey of the trusses. The publication also includes a chapter on the carpentry trade. As in previous publications, the proven system of boards will be maintained.
