Himalayan Echoes

The Himalayas. A special world of strange, captivating beauty, where the peaks of eight-thousanders might truly hold the keys to the gates of heaven. A world that is colourful and picturesque, in many ways unknown, but always smiling and friendly. A world where, as if in a magic kaleidoscope, the harsh and untamed forces of nature, exotic culture, and the evocative voices of two major religious and philosophical systems, Buddhism and Hinduism, intertwine.

Every thought influences something, every deed leaves its mark on the white canvas of possible events. There, high in Nepal, it is as if human destinies are hidden yet present in every moment of time, in every sunbeam, in every raindrop or snowflake that falls like a tear to the earth from the dizzying blue and white of the Himalayan sky.
