Helena Benešová: Paracelsus

The life story of the great Renaissance physician, alchemist and astrologer (1493 - 1541). Theophrastus of Hohenheim, a physician called Paracelsus, lies helpless on his deathbed. He falls into slumber, sometimes into sleep, sometimes trying to organize his thoughts. He wants to live life step by step - as it really happened. Events don't want to stick to their order, they overtake or recede, blur or mix. The old man is alone. Alone, with only his conscience.
