NOT ALL MONSTERS HIDE IN THE CLOSET…

In the remote fields near the small Minnesotan town of Stillwater, you could scream for days and no one would hear you. When the bodies of fifteen-year-old girls Madison and Kaylee are discovered by chance in the snow, Sheriff Hardin is convinced it's the work of a serial killer nicknamed The Iceman. But FBI Agent Nikki Hunt has no doubt that the killer is one of the locals. Someone who knew where to hide the victims so they'd never be found.

Nikki returns to her hometown after twenty long years. It's the first time since she, as a sixteen-year-old, convicted her schoolmate Mark Todd for the murder of her parents. However, newly surfaced facts could overturn everything. Mark is demanding a retrial, and his brother, Rory, urgently pleads with Nikki to review the new evidence.

Nikki knows the girls' murder is more important, but Rory unsettles her so much that she begins to doubt whether she once trusted the right people. Could there be a connection between the deaths of Madison, Kaylee, and her parents? And can Nikki deal with her past before someone else dies?
