Fundamentals of human physiology

This text is not a classical textbook of physiology in the true sense of the word, but rather a repetition.
It summarizes the basic knowledge of human physiology, which, in the author's opinion, is necessary to understand the activity of functional systems in a healthy person.

The strength of the book is the small page size – everything essential is presented in compressed form. However, brevity is not a barrier to clarity. The clarity of the text and its graphic design also contribute to its comprehensibility; important information is distinguished from extensions by bold font. Figures, tables and diagrams make it easier to understand the facts presented.

All this will enable students to easily navigate the text and select information for reflection and revision, which will improve their preparation for the final exam. Last but not least, the text can contribute to the creation of good prerequisites for the study of further medical disciplines.
