Fox eyes

In her first young adult novel, the well-known author combines fantasy elements with an adventure story and an alternate history. "Did I really see a fox in our bathroom?" thinks thirteen-year-old Ed, as the animal flashes before his eyes for the umpteenth time. He and his twin sister Zuzka are hunting the beast with pellets. In the morning, another surprise awaits them in the bathroom. The pellets are gone and there's a big, deep hole in the floor. When Zuzka enters it, she suddenly falls somewhere and Eda has to follow her to help her out. They have no idea that they are in a tunnel leading to another time. Russian military columns rumble along Prague's roads, but children need not fear the soldiers - they have become invisible. From a randomly obtained newspaper, he finds out that it is August 22, 1968. The children decide to look for their grandmother, who has lived at the same address all her life. And when they find her, the adventure begins, in which they reach the people, the likes of which have only been read about in history books, and places, where no one will look.
