Fire of Mages
A collection of four alchemical-theosophical treatises by one of the most prominent figures of the occult scene during the Rudolphine period, Heinrich Khunrath (c. 1560–1605), author of the famous Amphitheatre of Eternal Wisdom. In these works, Khunrath explores the main principles of alchemical philosophy, namely the prima materia and fire, while making extensive use of the works of other authorities in the fields of alchemy and theosophy. This first Czech translation of Khunrath's texts is based on the revised and edited Leipzig editions published in the 1780s.
