Finding Adam
Teenager Adam grows up in a religious family. Day after day, he faces an obsessive upbringing, prejudice and bullying, and describes the internal conflict between his deeply rooted faith and a natural desire for his own authenticity. The reader joins him on a journey of self-discovery, pain, but also the joy of first love.
On the other hand, we follow the fate of Kamil, a successful PR manager in television, whose routine is disrupted by the arrival of his dying mother – a woman from whom he is deeply estranged. His story shows how an incurable illness can open up old wounds and lead to forgiveness.
Adam and Kamil seem to be clear opposites, but as the story unfolds, their paths gradually intertwine and it becomes clear that the desire for acceptance connects them more than either of them imagined.
