Fifth floor, no lift

When her long-term relationship ended years ago, leaving her alone with a young daughter, her small world fell apart. A new job and a new man offered a helping hand during a period full of self-pity, but even he often wasn't good enough for her. And so, a personal, often amusing and sarcastically humorous, piece of writing was born. And sometimes sad, too – just like life itself.
