Festivities and celebrations at school

Festivities and celebrations are an important part of life for preschool and younger school-age children. We commonly celebrate Children' s Day, Mother' s Day, and there are well-known folk traditions associated with Christmas and Easter. But how can we grasp and convey to children the lesser-known holidays associated with folk customs and traditions that are an integral part of our culture? This book will help with that.

The publication will be a useful aid to teachers and educators in transforming the values hidden in our folk customs and traditions into didactic activities in school subjects. Folk customs and traditions are also a suitable topic for maintaining the cognitive and emotional balance of the student' s personality. The book offers a set of activities that will certainly become the basis for project-based teaching of individual holidays and will be part of school celebrations in kindergarten or elementary school.
