Fall into darkness

Jessica's investigating another big case.

Agent Jessica Blackwood has solved two big cases and as a rising star in the FBI, she still has to come to terms with her unconventional past as an illusionist. She now also regularly consults her eccentric grandfather, a former great magician, whom she sees as her mentor, even though she once couldn't stand him.

Suddenly, however, a routine stakeout turns into a drama and Jessica must fight for her life when a deranged woman shows up with a baby in her arms and threatens to kill it. On the same day, shortly after the strong earthquake, that will hit the East Coast, a strange video goes viral, on which physicist Peter Devon, Nobel Prize winner, but he's been dead for eight years, predicts the location and date of the earthquake. And not long after, the corpse of an unknown woman is found who matches the description of the attacker Jessica encountered.

Investigating a series of seemingly unrelated, but equally bizarre and dark crimes take Jessica into the colourado desert and into the village, that simply fell off the face of the earth, and the young agent finds out that he'd have to deal with something grimmer and more powerful, than anyone would have expected. Something so twisted that only one man - the Wizard - could be behind it.
