Fairy Tale Speech Therapy – The Giant Turnip

This set of speech therapy exercises, designed to develop speech and created in collaboration with a clinical speech therapist, uses the text of a classic fairy tale that children know well. The booklet includes worksheets and characters that can be cut out, stuck onto a skewer, and used to put on a puppet show. Working with the fairy tale and worksheets helps to improve concentration. It helps to develop speech skills, vocabulary, linguistic intuition, spatiotemporal orientation, and visual and auditory perception. It is excellent for working with children in nurseries, parent and toddler groups, counselling centres, and clinics, but it is also great for practice at home.
