Fairy Tale

Charlie Reade meets Howard Bowditch, a recluse from the house on the high hill. In the garden behind the house stands a locked shed, from which emanate strange sounds. Mr Bowditch dies and Charlie discovers that he has been left the house—along with a secret that will be a terribly heavy burden. Inside the shed is a portal to another world. That other world is in danger, and so is ours. In this parallel universe, there are magnificent palaces with high towers, musty underground dungeons, and a magical clock that can turn back time.
