Fair of naked souls

In her fourth book published by Eroika, Iva Tajovská presents a collection of twelve short stories linked by a single storyline. In subsequent stories, the author transfers the narrative to a character who - often marginally - appeared in the previous story. It thus illustrates her motives and gradually reveals the colourfulness of all the captured fates. The narrative takes the reader among different types of people and reveals their hidden pains and destinies, which influence their behaviour and attitudes that may be incomprehensible at first sight. These are mostly slightly tragic, complex stories, written with a detailed knowledge of the nooks and crannies of human nature. Yet through them winds the pursuit of a happy and contented life...
