Facilities for sport and physical education in Czech Republic

One of the most important prerequisites for sports and physical education is the creation of suitable spatial conditions for their implementation, i.e. the construction and maintenance of sports facilities. It should be a society-wide interest to significantly increase the number of people who regularly participate in sport, especially among children and young people, and the number, availability, quality and use of sports facilities and areas suitable for sport are important factors in the development of sport among the general public. The book monitors the demand of individual population groups and the usability of existing sports infrastructure, presents case studies of the construction of sports halls, discusses the differences and common features of sports infrastructure for top-level, performance and recreational sports and describes current trends in the planning and construction of sports facilities in the country and abroad.
