Evil spirit
Roughly thirty in-depth analyses of criminal cases await their readers in a prologue and seven chapters
The title symbolically and fittingly alludes to the phantom that a young man, a former prison service officer, feared. He warned his loved ones about the evil spirit, trying to protect them with primitive magical drawings and lines of homegrown magic. Unfortunately, he underestimated that the worst and most cruel demon lurked within him…
Together with the author, we will also discover that a talented perpetrator can write an extensive poem about a murder. Or did some demon dictate it to him?
From behind the cemetery wall, a woman's scream echoed into the night… We will analyse the mysterious and as yet unsolved disappearance of a woman, which will lead us into the evocative environment of tombs and crosses, but also into the furnaces of a crematorium, a small, peculiar factory for processing the deceased and turning them into ashes, packed into urns… Perhaps Mr Kopfrkingl will make an appearance!
The fourth panoptic volume maps cases from the years 2000–2010 and its treatment will once again leave readers in no doubt that the author is a true master of the genre!
