When Amy's life fell apart eleven years ago, she started her first collection. It was just a few memories of happier times: a flowerpot that reminded her of the man she loved, a scratched porcelain bird, a silver lighter… Things that others might throw away represent her whole world.

Amy embarks on a journey into her past and has to deal with nosy neighbours, an annoying cat, incompetent police and a little boy who helps her reopen her heart – and your home.
