Eva Hudečková: Little Brother Golem

In 1993, "Brother Golem" was published, which is a peculiar and unique variant of the Old Prague legend, a fascinating story, full of magic, tension and humour, set in the mid-19th century, in the streets of the Prague ghetto. It is about the appearance of a small miraculous Golem who comes to the aid of a threatened love to prevent crime and injustice. Brother Golem was the subject of a five-part dramatisation of the same name by Milona Čepelka for Czech Radio. The cast includes Tomáš Töpfer, Ladislav Mrkvička, Alois Švehlík, František Němec and others.
