Green hills, fragrant meadows and a whole lot of puppy love
After her boyfriend tells her he needs a break, illustrator Ella leaves her beloved London to house-sit for her godmother, Magda, in the countryside. She wants to clear her head and figure out what she really wants from life. But Magda forgot to mention one small detail – that a dog named Tess will be waiting for her at the house and needs looking after.
How will Ella cope with her four-legged flatmate, the grumpy vet, Devon, and the locals, who don't seem to understand the concept of privacy? Will she reassess her life and give love a chance, even though she promised herself she'd stay away from men?
