Education, skills and mobility

The publication seeks to answer some important questions about the Czech labour market in terms of the impact of education, skills, social background and socio-psychological characteristics on the income and socio-economic status of individuals' employment. The work of the author's team also focused on explaining the wage gap between men and women with different levels of education, the changes in the position of workers after the economic crisis in the period of labour market recovery, the degree of job autonomy in their jobs and the impact of skill mismatch on the labour mobility of employees. Last but not least, it showed the current level of satisfaction of individuals with work and life in general. She tried to argue the connection between these evaluations and to deduce which aspects of work and employment are preferred and desirable for Czechs, and which of them are already fulfilled in their current employment. < br> < br> The accompanying annexes offer a wealth of documentary material on the topic in the form of tables, graphs and other outputs from statistical research and international comparisons.
