Eduard Petiška: The Heart I Live In

Everyone has a double home. One is his environment, his house, his room - the other is his heart. The children are settling in both the first and second homes. The latter, however, is basic and central to them, and full of adventure. There are adults who, like children, feel that a second home - welcoming, joyful and filled with hope - is the greatest victory that can be achieved in life. This home will always protect us from the blows of hatred, indifference, callousness. And it is to this home that Eduard Petišek's last book, which he wrote shortly before his death, invites us. He invites us to visit a childhood home. Lubor Tokoš invites us to a home called the heart.
