Economic Psychology
This unique publication on our market is an attempt to bridge economics and psychology, disciplines that have long developed separately. Especially in the Czech context, it can be the beginning of a new stage. The author has been working at the intersection of these disciplines for a long time. The book traces the origins and development of economic psychology, looking for its roots in the works of the founders of economics and in the views and world view of the representatives of the main schools of economics. It also presents the theoretical foundations of the connection between psychology and economics. It discovers "the psychological in the economic", discusses the main economic concepts from the point of view of psychology, special problems of economic psychology, i.e. Taxes, donations, shopping, saving ... and finally alternative economics and economies. Part of the book is devoted to the economics of everyday life. It describes the principles of the two main pillars of the economy - households and firms, together with the main means of their connection - money. The problems of field research are not neglected either.
