Portugal, a wonderful country full of stories, where there is perhaps no place that doesn't have a legend associated with it. Even if it's just a small chapel or a group of statues. It is a country with a remarkable and rich culture, but also one that is a little mysterious and remote—after all, it lies beyond the Pyrenees, a place that for centuries was not easy to reach. A land where significant battles took place and great mysteries were performed. It is also a region where the land ends and the sea begins, the westernmost part of Europe, the gateway to the ocean. This anthology contains short stories by Czech authors, inspired by Portuguese legends, fables, and myths, spanning all literary genres.
