The other

Two young women on the cusp of adulthood. What to do with your life? And what about relationships? And what if being young isn't the joy everyone around you claims it to be? Both are just finishing university, but they couldn't be more different. One believes in God, the other lost her faith long ago. One is planning for the future, the other is just trying to survive the present. One wants love, and so does the other, really. Life forces them to face intense situations over the course of a single year, but each approaches them differently. Alice ends up in the arms of a teacher from the Faculty of Arts, Zina in a strip club. The Second One is a novella about perspective and irreversible decisions. The key to unravelling Alice and Zina's story lies in the everyday, which changes us more than anything else. Recorded at Studio Chevaliere, directed by Helena Rytířová, sound by Zdeněk Rytíř.
