Dragon Eyes
There was once a kingdom, a dragon heart, an evil wizard and princes. As it happens in fairy tales, the forces of good and evil clash here, but because this is a magical world created by Stephen King, you can also expect an icy grip of terror and suspense, much like in the story of the Dark Tower.
The author originally wrote this fairy tale full of kings, queens and magicians only for his daughter Naomi. She didn't care much for her dad's scary horror stories, but it wouldn't be Stephen King if he didn't put everything he had into the narrative. The result is a classically Kingian suspense story, whose heroes, though fabulously typecast, feels real joy, pain and fear, and the masterfully escalated tension will not let readers put the book down until the last page.
