The Wild West II. Men of Faith

The author, a Czech-American, drawing on well-founded literature and his own research, including fieldwork, presents a colourful picture of religious life in America. He covers the most important and interesting figures and religious movements that shaped the country from the 18th to the 20th century, from Catholic missions through various Protestant denominations (Presbyterians, Baptists, Episcopalians and Methodists, Quakers, and others) to the legend-shrouded Mormons.
