Disease signs and symptoms

The basis of the book is the idea „ Signs and symptoms are the building blocks of diagnosis“. In order for the construction to be successful, there must be a proper examination, i.e. propedeutics, at the foundation, and differential diagnosis at the top. The publication contains 232 characters, signs and laboratory indicators in 190 chapters with an epilogue, which summarizes extremely interesting information about some of the eponyms from the entire publication.

The passwords are sorted alphabetically and each has a clear, clear structure: Definition, Classification, pathophysiology, Occurrence, clinical picture, Diagnostics, differential diagnosis, treatment and basic literature used. The authors are experienced university teachers and doctors, mostly from the 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague.

The publication is a follow-up to the previous successful books Disease Signs and Symptoms 1 and 2 and the book Disease Signs and Symptoms – differential diagnostics, which has won numerous professional awards.

In addition to the original 218 flags, 14 more headings have been added and all texts have been updated.

It is an original home work of experienced university teachers and authors, similar publications are known from abroad under the name „ SYMPTOMS AND SIGNS“. These publications are extremely popular with medical students and physicians of all specialties and ages.
