Disadvantaged pupil

This excellent publication by renowned authors responds to significant legislative and methodological changes in our education system and also to the need for support measures for children who face various difficulties and deficits in their education, which can lead to – among other things – to specific learning and behavioural disorders. ​

The book is beneficial not only for special educators and psychologists, but especially for kindergarten and first grade teachers of mainstream schools, as well as for students of education. They will learn all the essentials about the impact of this type of disability on the education of preschool and younger school-age children and about their diagnosis and intervention.
An added value of the book is the diagnostic appendix, which is clearly processed so that not only counsellors but also teachers can evaluate individual sub-functions (e.g. perceptual, cognitive or motor), deficits in which can lead to specific learning and behavioural disorders. This material, standardized on the population of Czech pupils, has not been published anywhere before.
