Devil Hunter
Solo for Sergeant Jaros from the popular Stein and Barbaric series
After the events in Pilsen, Bohdan Jaroš stopped believing that he would ever meet Stein and Barbaric again. He wanders on his own along the Bohemian Route, which connects Prague with Buda, and earns a living as a hired executioner and crime hunter. In Trnava he is summoned by Count Stanislav Thurzo, who is looking for the commander of his hussar regiment. Captain Galovich was last seen in the company of a beautiful harlot, and at the same time the five hundred gold pieces from the ransom of a captured Turkish officer were lost with him. Jarosh accepts the task and sets out on a search, even though he suspects that the captain is no longer among the living. The sergeant soon finds himself in danger when cattle rustlers, treacherous raiders, rogue mercenaries and slave hunters cross his path.
