Detective Hron's Cases

Slovakia's first original detective, Hron, solves cases in the short stories The Carpenter and the Tie, In the Clutches of Death, Murder in the Banker's House, and The Yellow Button. The pseudonym Bielohorský belongs to publisher Gustáv Adolf Bežo, who published popular literature and contributed to it himself with the character of an exceptional detective. While the official investigation often stalls, detective Hron is not deterred, and his methods lead to success. The text of the e-book is based on the original paperback editions and has only been minimally edited.
