When Detective Polívka, now a security guard at a supermarket, starts searching for a stolen car from the parking lot, he finds the car in a bazaar with a mysterious blood stain. The car belongs to Robert Kaplan, who misses not only the car but also his daughter Alice. Polívka heads to the village of Belert, where Alice' s body is found. The case becomes more complicated when it turns out that the blood in the car does not belong to Alice, but to an unknown person.
