The book Orcigard is the final part of the Lycarian trilogy. Loosely based on The Best Day for Dying and Likario.
Orcigard is still controlled by Alarich Touraine, known as the Dark Mage, but his power is waning. Rebellions break out against him, treasure hunters and orc scalp hunters invade his territory. In these turbulent times, Sylvia Victorina, youngest daughter of the Duke of Barro, is brought to Orcigard. In order to survive, she must find allies and friends - both among the adventurers and among the orcs and monsters.
Orcigard was once home to the realm of pterra, creatures with human bodies and bird heads. Over the ages, Orcigard has turned into a vast swamp. Orcs live here scattered, various monsters roam here. The old temples, drowned in the swamps, hide gold and valuable artifacts.
