Death in Gemeri

Investigative photographer Karovič and his longtime colleague Palic find themselves in Gemeri, where a ritual murder took place. The victim was Karovič' s cousin. They get involved with the local Roma and a mysterious sect. An unknown danger is stalking them, and corpses and suspects are mounting. Seasoned guys Palica and Karovič have a problem. Gemer both welcomes and hates them because local rules apply here and the two of them will remain strangers here forever.

Peter Gašparík (1977, Bratislava). He studied directing at the Academy of Performing Arts and also in Italy, France and the USA. In addition to directing (documentaries Tereza - Love Charge, STOPS - Fighting in Banská Štiavnica) he writes poetry and prose. His book A Piece of My Heart, What I (didn't) do, I (didn't), Beasts and hyenas, The Pink Villa and crime novels Death on Gold, Death in Stiavnica, Death in the church, Death in the Tatras and Death in Gemeri. He was also involved in translation and business.
