This fantasy by Czech author Mila Linz is a loose continuation of The Shadow of the Black Forest.
Three men: Meyrink, who used to be the best hunter, but bad luck is nipping at his heels. Jocachim, who used to be a mercenary before he lost his arm and became a cripple. Volkan, who used to be human, but at the moment of his death he was cursed three times and he had no choice - either to dance in the sky with skeletons forever or to become the messenger of Lady Death.
Life on the edge of the Black Forest is spiced with blood, and people shouldn't even try to look inside it. Yet these three men are going there. And you can go on this journey with them in an audiobook masterfully read by Jiří Pobuda, and accompanied by the music of the Pilsen band Elthin (www.elthin.cz).
