Cuckoo
Old sins cast long shadows. The eleventh case of Patrick Hedström and Erika Falck.
The eleventh installment of the popular series set in the Swedish town of Fjälbacka with investigative writer Erika Falck and investigator Patrik Hedström.
Fjällbacka is shaken by two terrible events that are seemingly unrelated. Famous photographer Rolf Stenklo is found murdered in the gallery where he was to open his exhibition, and a brutal murder occurs in the family of Nobel Prize-winning writer Henning Bauer. Patrik Hedström and his colleagues find themselves in a deadlock while Erika Falck deals with the murder of a transsexual man in 1980s Stockholm. He soon realizes that all these events have their roots in the past... and he won't rest until he uncovers the truth in all its horrifying glory.
They wrote about the book:
Above all, however, you will enjoy an extremely interesting and suspenseful read with a surprising denouement, in which you will also be transported to Stockholm in 1980 several times. This book will keep you so entertained that you won't be able to tear yourself away from it, and that's the way it should be.
