Jana Jašová won the favour of readers and literary critics with her thriller debut novel Destroy the Name - she was nominated for the Magnesia Litera award for detective fiction. The genre continues with a psychologically sophisticated detective story with elements of a thriller.
Jana Jasova
She studied journalism at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University. She is a successful literary translator and also devotes herself to her own literary work. She has translated more than two hundred fiction titles for children and adults from English, and also translates non-fiction literature. She was awarded the Golden Ribbon in 2010 for her translation of Michelle Paver's novel The Oathbreaker and won the same award in 2021 for her book Dog Days. Her first thriller, Destroy the Name, was nominated for the Magnesia Litera award in the "mystery" category. He continues in this genre with the title Cruel Moon.
