Critical thinking

This publication is dedicated to critical thinking and cognitive biases. Critical thinking is one of the most necessary skills for the 21st century, but it is also one of the skills that is most lacking in education at all school levels. The ability to think critically is particularly important because the world is becoming faster and more complicated. In such an environment, our intuition is no longer sufficient, and to make better decisions, it is necessary to know the fallacies to which our perception and thinking are subject, and to know how to cleverly use reason. Therefore, the book focuses on how to develop critical thinking in oneself and others, how to recognise fallacies in perception and judgement, and presents a wide spectrum of cognitive biases that, in many cases, prevent us from using critical thinking methods effectively.
