Criminal Genius

A mysterious electrical storm plunges Manhattan into darkness, and when a strange, suffocating fog descends, all electronic communication collapses - as if the island had vanished into the void in an instant. FBI Special Agent Jessica Blackwood and brilliant scientist Theo Cray know that this is not an accident, but an elaborate ruse. On their way out of a New York prison, their arch-enemy, a serial killer and master manipulator called the Wizard, escaped, vowing to end humanity. And now they are fulfilling their promises. Cities around the world are gradually falling into chaos and disappearing into similar black holes, but this is only a precursor to something much bigger. If Jessica and Theo are to foil the Wizard's plans, they must delve into the deepest shadows of even the darkest of minds.
