Creation of information systems

This publication by renowned authors summarizes the current knowledge in the field of analysis and design of enterprise information systems. It is intended for both university students, and the professional public from companies and other organisations, in which they deal with information systems, possibly from software companies, in particular the IS/ICT Development and Operations Manager profession, Developer / IS architect, Business analyst / architect. The monograph examines the role of information systems and technologies (IS/ICT) in today's world, analyses the relationship between business and information technology, describes the possible and necessary difficulties arising from the complexity of IS/ICT and argues some approaches to managing IS development, especially business analysis, architectural approaches, methodological approaches to building IS and service-based approaches. The detailed description of the IS development disciplines is based on the MMDIS methodology and a multidimensional approach. The methods and notations of information system modelling (process, functional, data, object and other modelling) are described.
