Contractor 2

"Even when we are different, there are always pieces that bring us together." In the loose sequel to the audiobook The Contractor, Peter Kijaba once again returns to the uncompromising world of private security services - this time in Afghanistan, Iraq and the Central African Republic. Haunted by the shadows of the past and the experiences that have shaped him since childhood, he struggles not only to survive in extreme conditions, but also to find peace of mind. When he becomes a father, his outlook on life changes. The longing to return home, for a real life outside the war zones, grows stronger in him. With the support of his wife, he sets out on a path to healing, but true redemption doesn't come without a fight. Contractor 2 is a powerful and authentic story about trauma, fatherhood and second chances. That surviving is not just about surviving out there, but above all about finding your way back to yourself - and to those who really matter.
