When two charred bodies are found in Kolbenka, Prague, everyone assumes they are homeless. The bodies are unidentifiable, but no one is missing. In addition, when an anonymous tip-off triggers an investigation into long-standing corrupt practices at the city's largest company, everything takes on a different dimension. However, no one counted on a stubborn and implacable mayor. He is a thorn in everyone's side - his club, his party and the criminals.
Against the backdrop of a brutal murder investigation, a story begins to unfold that reveals the practices of municipal politics, where corrupt elected representatives of the people are closely connected to businessmen and where it is possible to buy a public prosecutor's office for a suitable sum of money.
