Conductor

Antonia dreams of one day conducting an internationally acclaimed orchestra. The problem is, she is a woman and the year is 1926. Girls are expected to get married and have children, not go to a conservatoire. But she is determined to follow her dream. She studies the piano and plays in a jazz club at night.
At a concert, she meets Frank, a manager and a young man from a wealthy family with many contacts among musicians. Although they come from different social classes, it seems their love will conquer all.
When Antonia finally gets the opportunity to study a conducting course, she is faced with an impossible choice – should she follow her heart, or pursue a possibly unattainable dream?
