Conan on the Isle of Ice

Sven Drak of Asgard, a failed warlord and unsuccessful schemer, is forced by the will of his conquerors to live out his days on a glacial island far to the north. But even here, he has no intention of abandoning his plans to conquer the mighty kingdoms on the mainland. He relies primarily on a spell he extorted from the high priest of a mysterious underground temple, which he seized with the unwitting help of the enigmatic Grims. Using a magical black stone, he begins to build a ghostly army of inhuman warriors. However, if he is to realise his plans, he must kill Conan of Cimmeria as quickly as possible – only the death of the famous warrior will allow him to harness the full power of the black stone and gain immortality. Conan finds himself on the island against his will, but he has no intention of selling his life cheaply. The sorceress Arzala and several natives help him in his fight against the malevolent Sven Drak. But to rid him of the powerful spell and save both the island and the mainland kingdoms from destruction, he must first triumphantly battle a host of terrifying spectres and pass through a stone underground labyrinth.
